Apple Pulls AppGratis From App Store

The popular app, AppGratis that apparently offers big discounts for paid apps in the Apple App Store has been pulled. AppGratis was just given $13.5 million for funding by Iris Capital and the Orange Public Fund back in January and topped the 10 million user mark in February.

From PC Mag:

Yet another app can join the "Pulled from the App Store" club, as Apple this week yanked AppGratis for violations of its terms of service.
AppGratis, an app-discovery service, says on its website that it offers "huge discounts on paid apps," as well as one push notification per day.
...Unfortunately, its business model runs afoul of some Apple policies. Back in October, Apple updated its app guidelines to say that "apps that display Apps other than your own for purchase or promotion in a manner similar to or confusing with the App Store will be rejected." The new wording suggested that any app that promoted an app from another developer within its app risked getting kicked out of the App Store.
I am an Android guy myself, so I've never used this service. Are you an AppGratis user? How has this affected you? Let us know in the comments.
