It’s that time of years boys! That’s right, Sunday is Valentine’s Day! According to Wikipedia, “The holiday is named after one or more early Christian martyrs named Valentine and was established by Pope Gelasius I in 496 AD. It is traditionally a day on which lovers express their love for each other by presenting flowers, offering confectionery, and sending greeting cards (known as "valentines"). The holiday first became associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished.”
Many men will rush out and buy their ladies something expensive like jewelry, or perhaps will take them out to a fancy dinner at an expensive restaurant. Well, I’m here to tell you that valentine’s day doesn’t have to be expensive. In fact, all you need is an old box with a lid, and a pair of scissors. I learned this from Saturday Night Live! Just follow these three instructions, and your lady will be putty in your hands for Valentine’s day. Ready?
- Get yourself a box
- Cut a hole in the box
- Put your junk in the box
- Make her open the box
